Michelangelo was an Italian scuplter, painter,architech and a poet. He was considered to greatest living artist in his lifteime and ever since then he was considered as one of the greatest artist of all time. A number of his works in painting scuplture, architecture rank among the famous in the world.

Pieta depicts the body of Jesus on the lap of his mother Mary after the Crucifixion. Raffaelo Sanzio Da Urbino or Raphael was an Italian painter and architect of the High Renaissance period. His work was admired for its clarity of form and ease of composition and for its visual achievement of the interpreting the Divine incorporating Christian doctrines.

The Transfiguration was Raphael's last painting on which he worked on up to his death. Commissioned by Cardinal Giulio de Medici, the late Clement VII, the painting was conceived as an altarpiece for the Narbonne Cathedral in France.
Donato di Niccolo di Betto Bardi or Donattelo was one of Italy's great artist of the Renaissance period. He was an early Renaissance Sculptor from Florence. He is known for his work in bas-relief, a form of shallow relief sculpture

BAROQUE PERIOD
The Baroque was a period of artistic styles in exaggerated motion, drama, tension, and grandeur (magnificence. The Roman Catholic Church highly encouraged the Baroque style to propagate Christianity while the aristocracy used the Baroque for architecture and arts to entertain and express power and triumph.

The famous "Ecstasy of St. Teresa" was his greatest achievement and the Colonade of the Piazza of St. Peter's Rome.
